Display email for review
Authorized message information is used to show supported senders, subjects, dates, subscriptions, and inbox groups.
InboxTrim is an Android application developed by Drift Studios. Its purpose is to help users review, organize, unsubscribe from, and remove unwanted email such as newsletters, promotions, recurring notifications, old messages, and other inbox clutter across supported email providers.
Application purpose
This section explains why the application exists and what users can do with it.
InboxTrim gives users a focused Android interface for reviewing inbox clutter. Depending on the connected provider and granted permissions, the app can display supported messages, review recurring senders, identify newsletters and promotional email, support unsubscribe workflows, organize messages, and remove messages selected by the user.
The application does not make hidden decisions about a user's inbox. The user reviews the available information and chooses what to keep, organize, unsubscribe from, or delete.
Transparent data access
Inbox-management features require permission to view or modify messages selected by the user.
Authorized message information is used to show supported senders, subjects, dates, subscriptions, and inbox groups.
Modification access is used only for actions initiated or confirmed by the user.
Basic account information is used to authenticate the user and show which provider account is connected.
Google accounts are connected through Google's OAuth consent screen, where Google displays the requested permissions before access is granted.
